AACP 2019 Fall Conference – Police Response to Mental Illness

The Alberta Association of Chief’s of Police (AACP) is hosting the annual two-day fall AACP Conference in Red Deer, Alberta and this year’s theme is Police Response to Mental Illness.
The two day conference is designed to build awareness, understanding and empathy for police interactions with people in crisis and to increase understanding of the complexity of mental illness and the diversity of response options. The training is open to all AACP members. Seating is limited and interested members are encouraged to register early.
There is a fee of $350 for AACP members, and a fee of $400 for invited guests of the AACP. This fee includes all health breaks, 2 lunches and a banquet on the evening of November 13th. Candidates are responsible for their own accommodation, meals (which are not included), incidentals & travel. Dress code: business attire.
